SnowEx unveils new hopper spreader, pusher plow

SnowEx Products has introduced two new products, the Renegade poly hopper spreader and the Power Pusher Pro hydraulic-winged pusher plow.

The Renegade poly hopper spreader offers a choice in material delivery systems and accessories, providing more accurate spreading, pre-wetting or spraying, according to SnowEx. The company said its extended chute design reduces leakage while an interlocking lid protects the hopper from moisture to prevent material clumping. The spreader comes in 1.5 and 2.2 cubic yard sizes, with an optional Helixx shaftless auger delivery system for rock salt or a pintle chain material delivery system for heavier materials like sand and salt/sand mixes. The spreader can be fitted with an optional accessory called the Triple Threat Pre-Wet and Direct Liquid Application, which SnowEx said adds the capability to spread, pre-wet and spray, with one hopper spreader.

The company said that the Power Pusher Pro hydraulic-winged pusher plow is designed for control and versatility. Its air-actuated wings move independently, can move into different configurations within a 180-degree clearance, and add 6 ft. of plow width when fully opened. SnowEx said the plow features Trace technology, consisting of 2-ft. sections that can raise, oscillate and trip to accommodate contours and obstacles in the plowing surface. The plow is also equipped with a common carrier attachment system with a floating coupler, which the company said ensures compatibility with skid-steers, wheel loaders, tractors and backhoe loaders.
